In Review: This week, Representative T.J. Marti’s (R) Forced Pharmacy Closure (FPC) bill, HB 3538, passed out of the Public Health subcommittee, and Representative Carl Newton (R) struck the FPC language in his bill and replaced it with specialty steering and white bagging restrictions. PCMA and several members met with representatives of the pharmacists’ lobby and legislators to hear their concerns and to discuss the possibility of negotiating on the dispensing fee in exchange for their not moving the FPC language.
