Up Next: Today, SB 789 is set to be heard in the House Health & Human Services Oversight Committee. Last week, PCMA shared alternative language with Chairman Carl Newton (R) of the committee and outlined our concerns with the bill, focusing on the restrictions on effective rate contracting and network leasing. However, at the time of this writing, no amendments have been filed ahead of the committee meeting. PCMA continues to work with the State Chamber and Oklahoma Families for Affordable Healthcare to raise business and grassroots opposition to the bill.
