In Review: Representatives Ed Diehl (R) and Emily McIntire (R) called the first HB 3212 (ban on spread pricing and dispensing fees) stakeholder meeting on Wednesday, February 12. However, we only heard about the meeting four hours before it was scheduled. The fallout caused the representatives to re-evaluate the process, promising to ensure all interested parties are given ample opportunity to participate.
Up Next: The next stakeholder meeting will be this Wednesday, February 19, and will be either at noon or, more likely, at the end of the day to allow more time for discussion. We anticipate weekly stakeholder meetings for the foreseeable future. In the meantime, we don’t expect either HB 2253 (vertical integration) or HB 2253 (fiduciary) to advance out of the committee.
