Up Next: The House Health Committee will hold a hearing on several PBM-related bills on Tuesday, February 4. Bill Head from PCMA will testify in opposition to HB 3212 (PBM omnibus) and HB 2253 (fiduciary). Bill will speak in support of HB 2149 (PSAO transparency). LuGina Mendez-Harper from Prime Therapeutics will join Bill in opposing HB 3212 which we have been told will be in a longer time set of panels. The Department of Consumer and Business Services will open the hearing with a report on PBMs followed by a panel of pharmacists and, finally, a panel comprised of PBMs (Bill and LuGina) along with two health plan representatives.
