In Review: The pharmacists canceled the last stakeholder meeting. PBMs and plans used the time to share our final redline version of HB 3212 (spread, reimbursement, preferred network participation, refuse to fill) with Representatives Ed Diehl (R) and Emily McIntire (R). Rep. Diehl shared his preference to allow pharmacies to charge a patient more if the reimbursement is below their acquisition cost. This is essentially balance billing for prescription drugs.
Up Next: PBM members and plans are planning to meet with Chair Rob Nosse (D) to review our redline version of HB 3212 and the next steps.
