In Review: PCMA met today with Jordan Grant, Executive Director of the Senate Insurance Committee, to facilitate an agreement on a substitute amendment for SB 1000. Senate Republican Leadership is expected to review the terms of the substitute and may seek to amend the committee-passed bill as early as the last week of June. The legislature has a constitutional deadline to pass a budget by June 30, which would include time for this bill to be voted on and enacted; however, the deadline is rumored to be extended to mid-July.
