In Review: Despite continuing negotiations with Senate Republicans, SB 1000 will be voted out of the Senate Health Committee on Tuesday in its original form and with the potential for some pharmacist-requested amendments, such as a dispensing fee mandate for the commercial market. The bill will be second referred to the Senate Appropriations before consideration before the full body of the Senate. We have been assured that the version that will be approved by the Senate Health Committee will not be what is ultimately approved by the full Senate.
Up next: We expect the House Health Insurance Committee to vote on HB 1993 in its current form on June 12.
