In Review: Last year PCMA and members worked with the South Carolina Department of Insurance to provide responses to a Data Call that was sent out on October 20, 2023. The Department was mandated to provide a report back to the legislature on December 31, 2023, but as of today, it has not.

Up Next: PCMA anticipates that the Department will present to the Senate Banking and Insurance Committee as soon as January 24 on several issues, including the PBM Report. In preparation for that meeting, PCMA has provided members with a survey that is designed to highlight high-level aggregate information provided by PCMA members to the Department and a timeline of interactions with the Department. PCMA will target key committee members to provide a status update on our participation with the Department before the hearing.
