In Review: Senate Bill 342 was scheduled for a hearing on May 7 in Chairman Sean Bennett’s (R) subcommittee of Banking and Insurance. PCMA has met with Chairman Bennett to express our concerns with the bill as written and is working with the Chamber and Manufacturers to have opponents lined up to speak.

Up Next: As noted above, there will be a hearing on May 7 for SB 342, a NADAC plus 4%, plus a professional dispensing fee bill. The bill does not apply to the State Health Benefit Plan and will be amended to carve out Medicaid, leaving only the commercial market in the bill. PCMA plans to join employers in opposition to the bill.
