In Review: With the last few weeks of the session ahead, the fate of several bills PCMA was tracking has been determined. First, SB 2008 (AFPs, maximizers) is dead for this session, though it will be back next year. Additionally, POS rebate legislation (HB 920/SB 667) had not advanced this year and will remain in their respective committees until adjournment.

Up Next: The only remaining tracked bill that has seen action is SB 502 and HB 916. While HB 916 has passed the House, SB 502, having passed the Senate Commerce and Labor Committee, will likely receive a full vote this week. While signs are pointing to the bill passing, the team on the ground and PCMA’s coalition are working all angles on securing ‘no’ votes.
