In Review: PCMA and our member companies remain active in Tennessee on HB 1959 and SB 2040. This week, Senator Bo Watson (R) announced that all bills before the Senate with any fiscal impact will be moved behind the budget, delaying floor action on SB 2040 for a few weeks.

HB 1959 by Representative Rick Scarbrough (R) remains before the House Subcommittee on Finance, Ways and Means. PCMA has heard rumors of an updated fiscal note or a potential amendment coming from House leadership, but nothing has been confirmed. House leadership is playing this out very close to their vest.

Up Next: PCMA anticipates that the legislature will adjourn the week of April 20.
