In Review: Last week, the House appointed committee chairs and assigned a new Chairman to several committees, including House Insurance. This week, PCMA has several meetings set with the Chair and members of House Insurance to educate them on PBMs and discuss the priority issues in Texas. Twenty-four bills covering ERISA, coupons, rebates, AG oversight of PBMs, and other priority issues have been filed in Texas. PCMA is working closely with the Health Plan Association to streamline our efforts on key issues.

Up Next: Now that the House is organized, PCMA anticipates activity on various issues introduced to ramp up.
