In Review: The deadline to request bills to be filed in Texas has passed and PCMA is still monitoring new intros. PCMA is now tracking over 60 bills in Texas with about two dozen being high-priority issues, but narrowing our focus on the bills with the best path to move. The bills cover a variety of topics from ERISA, reimbursement, off-shoring of data, AI, and now the vertical integration bill similar to Arkansas.

Up Next: Now that the bill request deadline has passed, PCMA anticipates hearings to start ramping up in Austin. Ahead of bills being heard, PCMA has been educating legislative leaders and our coalition partners on the priority bills and their impacts on plan sponsors and beneficiaries.
