In Review: Texas now has nearly 40 PBM-related measures filed, with bill filling lasting for another two weeks. Several high-priority measures that have been introduced include Pharmacy Reimbursement, vertical integration, attorney general oversight into PBM mergers and acquisitions, and ERISA.

Up Next: Senator Charles Schwertner’s (R) SB 1122, which attempts to codify in state law Texas’s ability to regulate ERISA plans, has a hearing this Wednesday at 8:00 A.M.  PCMA is working closely with our coalition partners to have them speak in opposition to SB 1122 in committee.
