In Review: PCMA coordinated with the Texas Association of Health Plans, the Texas Association of Business, Texans for Affordable Healthcare, and the Texas Civil Justice League; all filed a brief with Attorney General Ken Paxton’s (R) office last Monday. As discussed, PCMA did not file a brief with AG Paxton’s office because we aligned on the strategy to allow the local voices to carry the message, which PCMA helped coordinate from behind. PCMA continues to work with our members and allies on a legislative strategy to address the issue raised by Senator Charles Schwertner (R).

Up Next: PCMA will be in Austin this week to do a series of meetings with the Texas Department of Insurance, the Texas Association of Health Plans, the Texas Association of Business, and other stakeholders.
