In Review: The Senate Committee on Commerce and Labor held a public hearing on Monday, January 26. PCMA and member companies worked together to successfully defeat a Republican delinking bill, SB 413, and a Republican omnibus anti-PBM kitchen sink bill, SB 410. Additionally, we successfully lobbied to make the Governor’s delinking bill optional and amended a bill relating to white bagging to only be applicable to cancer drugs. Most of these bills have companion bills in the House of Delegates and will all receive hearings as early as next week. PCMA will focus our efforts on the House of Delegates to ensure similar outcomes.
Up Next: PCMA and member companies are working to further amend the white bagging bill and are getting ready for the House of Delegates committee meetings.
