In Review: The legislative session ended Saturday, March 9 at Midnight. PCMA opposed the following five bills all of which died with the end of session:
- House Bil 5379 – banning the use of copay maximizers
- House Bill 5340 – requires insurance coverage not to prioritize the use of an opioid over a nonopioid drug for the treatment of pain.
- House Bill 4174 – prohibiting White Bagging
- House Bill 4183 – mandating 12 month supply of birth control
- Senate Bill 319 – limit the price of prescription drugs to older West Virginians
