In Review: On Tuesday, April 30, PCMA staff Sean Stephenson participated in a virtual panel, “Prescription Drug Costs: No Magic Pill,” sponsored by the Wisconsin Health News. Other participants included Novo Nordisk, a local hospital system, and the Wisconsin Insurance Commissioner, Nathan Houdek. Of note, the Commissioner of Insurance and local hospital system went after Novo Nordisk about their ‘high drug prices’ and called for legislation to limit television advertising for drug makers as well as encourage Congress to look at patent reform measures. There was very little focus on PBMs
