In Review: There were hearings on both HB 76 (prior authorization) and HB 82 (credentialling) in the House Labor, Health & Social Services Committee. Feedback from members early in the week on HB 82 (credentialling) indicated that there were no issues with the language. All the stakeholders testified at the hearing that the bill was a compromise and passed the committee, as well as the House. HB 76 (prior authorization), which would have required all reviewing providers to have a Wyoming license, received a large amount of opponent testimony and failed to receive a motion to move forward.
