In Review: The Wyoming legislative session does not begin until February 12. There have been numerous discussions on amendments relative to the prior authorization/gold carding bill that is waiting to be introduced. At this time, things are very fluid. The last concrete information we had was that the amendments included removing pharmacy from the gold carding provisions but unfortunately, include language on step therapy. Two local insurers agreed to the amendment language on gold carding at 80% for medical, but it only applies to five (5) procedures.
