Wyoming Weekly Update 6.24.24

n Review: The Interim Labor, Health & Social Services Committee held a meeting last Thursday and Friday in Pinedale. The issue of provider enrollment – credentialing was discussed. The working group on this matter met a few times since the last Committee meeting and has come up with language, and the Legislative Services Office (LSO) drafted a new version of a bill (25LSO-0032.5), which does not include pharmacy. It was noted that the working group has the back-dating issue to be resolved, which they feel will be done shortly. In addition, there was a discussion about a Good Samaritan Law for drug overdose reporting and tort reform, as well as a discussion about the creation of a Health Care Authority.
