Professor Margaret Neale will explore the challenges we face when negotiating, and share how women in particular can leverage their problem-solving strengths. Attendees will learn actionable strategies designed to help get (more of) what they want from their negotiations. Topics covered will include (1) how expectations influence our outcomes and the outcomes of our counterparts, (2) the power of justifications to influence, and (3) the importance of negotiating at the package, rather than the issue, level. At the conclusion of the workshop, a networking reception will take place outside on the North Palomino Plaza. This event is not limited to women.
