PCMA Welcomes New Appointments, Announces New Roles

(Washington, D.C.) — The Pharmaceutical Care Management Association (PCMA) today is announcing the additions of Amanda Frost as Assistant Vice President, Research and Timothy Dube as Assistant Vice President, Regulatory Affairs. PCMA is also announcing new roles for Kristin Bass and Brian McCarthy.

“I want to welcome Amanda and Tim to PCMA’s staff and congratulate Kristin and Brian on their new roles within the organization,” said PCMA President and CEO JC Scott. “These new leadership positions and additions to our team will help PCMA as we continue our work to educate federal and state policymakers on the value PBMs provide to lower drug costs, and to drive new solutions for patients and the healthcare system.”

Dr. Frost will lead the association’s research function and comes to PCMA from the Health Care Cost Institute, where she was a senior researcher. Most recently, Mr. Dube served in the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, where he worked on the Administration’s drug pricing initiative.

In addition, PCMA is announcing Kristin Bass, Senior Vice President, Policy and Federal Affairs, is moving to a new role as Chief Policy and External Affairs Officer. Ms. Bass will coordinate the organization’s policy development, research, federal government affairs, and communications work.

Brian McCarthy will assume the role of Chief Strategy and Business Operations Officer, and lead PCMA’s industry relations, finance operations, and strategic planning.
